49 points scored by 25 year old guard Agustin Villalon (184-G-2000) made him the highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team Arturo Prat beat the Illaplel 89 to 70. He also added 10 rebounds and 6 assists that evening. Villalon is the best scorer in the league averaging 30 points and over 11 rebounds per game. 1 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.
He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Union de Mar del Plata).
