Truenos dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Constitucion's 18. Truenos forced 20 Constitucion turnovers and outrebounded them 53-37 including a 23-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Martin Morales (-2002) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Nick Morales (187-1985) chipped in 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Truenos players scored in double figures. Brazilian power forward Enrico De Paula (205-2005) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and Orlando Maraboli (-1993) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Constitucion's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.

Puerto Montt made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Puerto Montt outrebounded Temuco 41-30 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Colombian forward Leyder Moreno (195-2000) scored 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and international Fabian Martinez (194-2000) chipped in 23 points and 17 rebounds during the contest. Point guard Felipe Becerra (-2001) responded with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and forward Carlos Iglesias (-1998) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Five Temuco players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
