Boston College looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Antone Robinson fired a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Lucas Marquez (196-2003) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Boston College's coach Benjamin Gasc used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Puerto Montt dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Aleman's 34 and made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international Fabian Martinez (194-2000) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists. Colombian forward Leyder Moreno (195-2000) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Four Puerto Montt players scored in double figures. Argentinian Lucas Mohnen (200-2001) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and Francisco Saravia (-2008) added 23 points in the effort for Aleman. Aleman's coach rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win.
