Basaez re-signs at NBF Castello

Sendy Basaez

Fustecma Nou Basquet Castello (LF Challenge) confirmed in their roster 29-year old Chilean international point guard Sendy Basaez (173cm-1996) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. She played there last season. In 28 LF Challenge games, she had 11.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.7apg, and 1.7spg. The previous (2023-24) season she played at another Spanish team Maristas Coruna (LF2).
She has also been a member of the Chilean international program for some years. Basaez has regularly played for the Chilean senior team since 2013 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2014.
She also represented Chile at the FIBA South American Women's Championship in Santiago (Chile) last year. During this event, she scored an average of 4.7 ppg and had 3.3 rpg.
Basaez has played also in Chile, between Los Leones, C.D. Boston College Santiago, and Iquique, and Chile.
She won the Spanish LF2 Playoffs championship title in 2022. She was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Chilean Liga Femenina Domestic Player of the Year in 2018.
