Defending champion CD Universidad de Concepcion (LNB) confirmed in their roster 32-year old American forward Stephen Maxwell (201cm-100kg-1993, college: CSUN) for season 2025-26. He was a team leader there last season. In 44 LNB games he recorded very impressive stats: 21.9ppg and 7.7rpg. He helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Chilean League Import Player of the Year, Latinbasket.com All-Chilean League Defensive Player of the Year and Latinbasket.com All-Chilean League Player of the Year.
Maxwell is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Argentina, Finland, Israel, Kosovo, Portugal, Spain, and Canada. He has played on three different continents and in eight different countries during his pro career.
Among many awards, he was selected Latinbasket.com All-Chilean Liga Nacional Player of the Year in 2023.
Maxwell graduated from CSUN in 2015 and it will be his 11th season as a pro player.
