Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most shocking disappointment of round 4 in the LNB was a home defeat of much higher ranked Puerto Varas (2-2) by fourth ranked Valdivia (3-1) who outscored them by 17 points 86-69. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Valdivia shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Erik Carrasco (181-1983) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and Argentinian guard Guido Mariani (194-1994, agency: BIG) who added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Valdivia's coach Cipriano Nunez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international guard Marcelo Perez (196-1999, college: Southern Miss) responded with 22 points. Valdivia keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Puerto Varas at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Valdivia is looking forward to face Espanol (#5) in Osorno in the next round. Puerto Varas will play on the road against Ancud and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Puente Alto. Third ranked Univ.Catolica (3-1) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 4th ranked Puente Alto (1-3) 92-90 on Sunday evening. The winners were led by American forward Tristan Harper (198-2000, college: Langston) who scored that evening 31 points and 8 rebounds and Deiker Salcedo supported him with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Even a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds by American center Jonnivius Smith (206-2001, college: UTSA) did not help to save the game for Puente Alto. Univ.Catolica keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Puente Alto lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Espanol and Espanol. Univ.Catolica will play against league's leader Los Leones in Quilpue in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Puente Alto will play at home against Boston College and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Santiago: Colo Colo (#2) and Boston College (#6). Boston College was defeated at home 58-69 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Diego Garcia fired 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. TJ Robinson produced 12 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Colo Colo have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted Boston College still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Ancud. Colo Colo will meet at home Espanol (#5) in the next round. Boston College will play against Puente Alto and hopes to get finally their first victory.
