Very important is a road loss of third ranked Valdivia (3-4) against sixth ranked Ancud (2-5) on Friday night. Visiting Valdivia was defeated by Ancud in Ancud 90-72. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Troy Cracknell (193-1999, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners and scored 31 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Patricio Arroyo accounted for 16 points and 11 rebounds. Ancud's coach Sebastian Luis Figueredo allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American Lenell Henry (203-1998, college: Alcorn St.) came up with 15 points and 5 rebounds for Valdivia in the defeat. Ancud moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Espanol and Puente Alto. Valdivia lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with four games lost. They share it with Puerto Varas and Las Animas. Ancud will play against league's leader Univ.Concepcion on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. American forward TJ Robinson (203-1989, college: LBSU) fired 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Lucas Marquez (196-2003) chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international forward Ignacio Carrion (201-1993) chipped in 19 points. Los Leones' coach Guillermo Frutos used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American Rakim Brown (198-1991, college: Humboldt St.) produced 26 points and the other American import center Jonnivius Smith (206-2001, college: UTSA) added 12 points and 15 rebounds respectively for lost side.
