Celneque Bobbitt claims Chilean LNB2 weekly honour

Celneque Bobbitt had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best CD Asociacion de Basquetbol Temuco and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNB2 Player of the Week award for round 1.
The had a double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Omega (#6, 0-1) with 16-point margin 90-74. Temuco is placed at 2nd position in Chilean LNB2. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Temuco won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Bobbitt had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Temuco and it was his first game, where he immediately became new team's leader. Bobbitt has impressive league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 16.0rpg. Bobbitt is in league's top in and averages solid 3.0spg,77.8% FGP and 75.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Antone Robinson of CD Omega. Robinson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 41 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Omega lost that game 74-90 to Temuco (1-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Robinson is one of the most experienced players at Omega and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 41.0ppg (#1). He also registered 10.0 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Rafael Balines (183-PG-2005) of second-ranked San Luis de Quillota. Balines got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds and five assists. He was a key player of San Luis, leading his team to a 90-57 easy win against #4 ranked Arturo Prat in a game of the week. San Luis has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Balines also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Balines as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
