Stefano Alesso claims Chilean LNB2 Hoops Agents weekly honour

Argentinian-Italian Stefano Alesso (213-F-2003) had a great game in the last round for CDB La Union and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNB2 Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 22-year old forward had a double-double of 32 points and 20 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Omega (#3, 2-2) 62-74. La Union maintains the 6th position in their group in the Chilean LNB2. They are still not able to win a single game in the league yet. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 3 games and had no victories. In the team's last game Alesso had a remarkable 53.8% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at La Union, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Stetson University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Alesso is in league's top in points (2nd best: 25.0ppg) and rebounds (2nd best: 18.0rpg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Gonzalo Silva (1999) of league's best team CD Hrvatski Sokol. Silva impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led Hrvatski Sokol to another comfortable win outscoring Arturo Prat (#6, 0-4) 91-57. This victory allowed Hrvatski Sokol to move up to 1st position in Group B. His team has currently 3-1 record. Silva is one of the most experienced players at Hrvatski Sokol and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.5ppg (#9). His other stats are also decent: 7.5rpg and 3.8apg.

The third best performed player last round was Pedro Martis of second-ranked CD Huachipato. Martis scored 19 points and grabbed 19 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Huachipato, leading his team to a 84-81 win against Escolar Ale. (#5, 0-1). Huachipato needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Group D. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Martis has a great season in Chile. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 18.7rpg (#1 in league).
