There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in LNF. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Univ.Concepcion at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by Los Leones 70-65. Los Leones forced 20 Univ.Concepcion turnovers. American-Syrian guard Randi Brown (173-1996, college: New Orleans) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Anahi Moran (168-1996) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Argentinian guard Laila Raviolo (180-2000, agency: BIG) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for Univ.Concepcion.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Santiago: Puente Alto and Sergio Ceppi. Sergio Ceppi was smashed at home by 25 points 65-90 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Colombian forward Mabel Martinez (180-1986) scored 19 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Janessa Gonzalez chipped in 20 points during the contest. Center Katalina Garcia (182-1994) responded with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
An interesting game for Sportiva Ita. which played road game in Las Condes against Azul y Rojo. Sportiva Ita. managed to get a 11-point victory 78-67. Angel Baker notched 23 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 25 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) by Maria-Esperanza Delgado did not help to save the game for Azul y Rojo. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: winless Quilicura was smashed by Gimnastico on the road 78-36. Sportiva Ita. destroyed Sergio Ceppi on its own court 86-65. Gimnastico was outscored by Univ.Concepcion in a road game 82-61. Winless Quilicura lost to undefeated Los Leones at home 47-76.
