Ugalde's 37-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old Marco Ugalde (1999) put on an amazing game in the last round for Club Deportes Castro and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had the game-high 37 points adding eight rebounds and eight assists for Castro in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Puerto Montt (#5, 3-5) 105-101. Castro maintains the 6th position in their group in the Chilean league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 6 games and recorded just two victories. In the team's last game Ugalde had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Castro, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Ugalde has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 6.1apg) and averages solid 2.3spg and 56.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Keaton Hervey (201-F-1998) of CEB Puerto Montt. He is American forward in his first season at Puerto Montt. In the last game Hervey recorded an impressive double-double of 40 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Puerto Montt was edged by slightly lower-ranked Castro (#6, 2-6) 105-101. This loss caused Puerto Montt to drop to 5th position in Sur. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-5 record. Hervey is one of the most experienced players at Puerto Montt and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.8ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 9.3rpg and 3.6apg.

Third place about best performers goes to Rakim Brown (198-SF-1991) of Club Deportes Puente Alto (#3). Brown got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for twelve rebounds . He was a key player of Puente Alto, leading his team to a 84-80 win against the lower-ranked Univ.Catolica (#6, 2-6). Puente Alto needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Centro. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 2 lost games. Brown has a great season in Chile. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.6ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 10.1rpg (5th best). He also has 2.5spg and a FGP of 60.5%.
