Chilean LNB round 6 best performance: Jevon Brown

American-Jamaican Guard Jevon Brown (196-G-1998) had an amazing evening in the last round for Colo Colo Santiago, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 27-year old player was the main contributor (40 points, nine rebounds and six assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Boston College (#5, 3-6) 92-89. Colo Colo is placed at 4th position in Chilean LNB. Colo Colo is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-5 record. In the team's last game Brown had a remarkable 65.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Colo Colo, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Jevon Brown has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.4ppg. Brown is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 5.4rpg) and averages impressive 60.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Bryce Beamer (197-F-1998, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) of Asociacion Basquetbol Ancud. Beamer had a very good evening with a double-double of 39 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Ancud was edged by slightly higher-ranked Castro (#6, 2-6) 87-83. Ancud managed to keep the same 7th spot in Sur. 7 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Ancud managed to get this year. Beamer is one of the most experienced players at Ancud and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Adam Afifi (206-F-2000) of C.D. Boston College Santiago (#5). Afifi got into 30-points club by scoring 37 points in the last round. He went also for thirteen rebounds . He was a key player of Boston College, leading his team to a 99-95 win against slightly higher-ranked Puente Alto (#3, 6-2). The chances of Boston College not to end season at such low position in Centro, however are less than slim as they have already lost 6 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Afifi could try to bring Boston College's a little bit higher in the standings. Afifi has individually a great season in Chile. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.4ppg (5th best).
