Jaimes' 37-point game gives him LNB2 Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

21-year old Colombian forward Andres Jaimes (198-F-2004) had a very impressive game in the last round for San Luis de Quillota and receives a Hoops Agents LNB2 Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had the game-high 37 points adding seven rebounds and two assists for San Luis in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Stadio Italiano (#5, 2-3) 72-69. San Luis is placed at 4th position in Chilean LNB2. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. San Luis will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Jaimes had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He just recently signed at San Luis, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Jaimes has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 22.4ppg) and averages solid 66.7% FGP and 55.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Kaleb Vaughn (198-F-1996) of Villa Alemana Basquet. He is American forward in his first season at Alemana. In the last game Vaughn recorded an impressive double-double of 25 points and 17 rebounds. Of course he led Alemana to another comfortable win outscoring the higher-ranked Constitucion (#2, 3-2) 87-64. Despite this victory Alemana slide down in the standings to 5th position in Group C. 2 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Vaughn is one of the most experienced players at Alemana and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.7ppg (#7). He also registered 15.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Victor Gonzalez (1984) of league's leader CD Sergio Ceppi. Gonzalez scored 18 points and grabbed 23 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Sergio Ceppi, leading his team to a 80-72 win against #3 ranked Hrvatski Sokol in a game of the week. Sergio Ceppi confirms their top position in Group B. Gonzalez has a great season in Chile. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 17.4rpg (3rd best).
