Luckey's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

24-year old American forward Aseem Luckey (206-F-2001) had a very impressive game in the last round for Club Deportes Espanol de Talca and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had a double-double of 26 points and 23 rebounds, while his team beat Univ.Catolica (#6, 2-8) 86-72. Espanol maintains the 7th position in their group in the Chilean league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 9 games and recorded just one victory. Luckey just recently signed at Espanol, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Aseem Luckey averages this season 20.3ppg and 12.8rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Stephen Maxwell (201-F-1993) of top-ranked CD Universidad de Concepcion. He is American forward in his second season at Univ.Concepcion. In the last game Maxwell recorded an impressive double-double of 34 points and 10 rebounds. It was enough for Univ.Concepcion to edge slightly lower-ranked Puente Alto (#3, 7-3) by 5 points 92-87. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Centro. Univ.Concepcion consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. He plays for the best team in the league and Univ.Concepcion managed to win all 10 games keeping a perfect record. Maxwell is well-known at Univ.Concepcion and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.0ppg (#1). He also registered 7.9 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Adam Afifi (206-F-2000) of C.D. Boston College Santiago (#4). Afifi got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for eleven rebounds . He was a key player of Boston College, leading his team to a 92-90 win against the lower-ranked Espanol T. (#7, 1-9). The chances of Boston College ranking at the top of Centro, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Afifi could help Boston College to bring them higher in the standings. Afifi has a great season in Chile. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.7ppg (4th best).
