Gimnastico looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Puente Alto helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American forward Alexis Poole (188-1999, college: KSU) who had a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds. Forward Andrea Valdes (179-1997) chipped in 11 points and 6 assists. Gimnastico's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Argentinian swingman Agustina Garcia (173-1996) produced 30 points and 7 rebounds and ex-international forward Catalina Ramirez (181-2003) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. The other American import guard Kaye Clark (170-2000, college: ODU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals. Clark is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Sportiva Ita.'s coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Center Katalina Garcia (182-1994) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Cuban center Betsy Guilarte (186-2003) added 8 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests.

Los Leones dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Quilicura's 22. Los Leones forced 28 Quilicura turnovers and outrebounded them 57-23 including a 23-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Los Leones looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Quilicura's players. The best player for the winners was American forward Dejah Terrell (185-1999, college: California, PA) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). American-Syrian guard Randi Brown (173-1996, college: New Orleans) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Five Los Leones players scored in double figures. Forward Darling Diaz (-2000) produced 7 points and 4 assists and Venezuelan forward Maria Quero (160-1999) added 10 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
