Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Colombians who are currently playing abroad.
#1. This week's number one is an experienced former international power forward
Michaell Jackson (190-1987, currently plays in Mexico). He could not help the league outsider
Correcaminos (0-7) in their last game. Despite Jackson's very good performance the bottom-ranked Correcaminos was edged
101-98 on the road by the second-ranked Fuerza Regia.
He was the second best scorer with 18 points. Jackson also added 4 assists and 5 steals in 35 minutes on the court.
So far Correcaminos lost all seven games in the Regular Season.
Jackson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.9ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.6apg, 4.1spg, 2FGP: 43.4%, 3FGP: 35.7% and FT: 74.5% in seven games he played so far.
Former Aguilas de Tunja starter played for the Colombian senior national team year ago.
#2. Second place goes to former international guard
Yesid Mosquera-Perea (198-1996, college:
Life, currently plays in Venezuela). Mosquera-Perea was not able to help
Gaiteros (5-10) in their last game. Despite his good performance the fifth-placed Gaiteros (5-10) lost
65-74 in Caracas to the second-ranked Brillantes in the West-B group.
Mosquera-Perea was the second best scorer with 13 points in 32 minutes. It was his first game for Gaiteros this season.
Mosquera-Perea played for the Colombian national team in 16.
#3. The Colombian player who performed third best last week abroad was former U17 international center
Chyse Webster (204-2000, currently plays in Nicaragua). Webster led
Leones MGA to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Occidentales (1-7) crushing them
90-51 in the Nicaraguan LSB on Friday night.
He scored 12 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 4 assists. It was his first game for Leones MGA this season.
His team is placed third in the LSB.
The Regular Season already ended.
Webster played for the Colombian U17 national team year ago.
#4. Center
Freddy Asprilla (206-1988, college:
Canisius, currently plays in Nicaragua) was not able to secure a victory for
Occidentales (1-7) in their game against UNI Basket (4-3) in the Nicaraguan LSB.
He scored 7 points, had 12 boards, passed 3 assists and added 3 steals in 38 minutes.
Occidentales was crushed
104-76 at home by the higher-ranked (#5) UNI Basket.
It was Occidentales' fourth consecutive loss in a row.
The Regular Season already ended.
Asprilla has relatively good stats this year: 10.6ppg, 11.8rpg and 2.0apg in five games.
He is a naturalized American.
Asprilla used to play for the Colombian national team
back in 18. He played also for Bucaros Freskaleche in Colombian league.

Fernando Lucena (185-PG-1986, currently plays in Venezuela) contributed to
Gigantes' victory against the fourth-ranked Cangrejeros (3-13)
79-65 in the Venezuelan SPB last Friday.
Lucena recorded 8 points.
Gigantes de Guayana (8-3) is placed third in East-B group.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Lucena's overall stats this season are: 5.8ppg and 1.3rpg.
He has a dual citizenship: Colombian and Venezuelan.
#2. Miguel Fernandez (194-F-1992, currently plays in Venezuela). He could not help
Marinos (2-8) to beat Spartans (7-7).
Fernandez scored 8 points.
Marinos (#5) was defeated
78-74 at home by the second-ranked Spartans in the East-B group.
It was Marinos' fourth consecutive loss in a row.
Fernandez's overall stats this season are: 9.1ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.1spg.
#3. Hector Diaz (192-SG-1992, currently plays in Venezuela) contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Toros (2-11)
89-74 in the Venezuelan SPB last Wednesday.
He scored 10 points and added 3 assists in 17 minutes.
Broncos BBC de Caracas (12-4) is placed first in West-A group.
It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row.
This year Diaz's overall stats are: 4.6ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.5apg in 15 games he played so far.
He is another player who holds two passports: Colombian and Venezuelan.
