Paisas dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Sabios' 28. Paisas had a 37-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Sabios' players. 24 personal fouls committed by Sabios helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international Soren De Luque (200-1998) fired 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Juan Tello-Palacios (206-1985) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Venezuelan Carlos Fulda (186-2002) produced 20 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Paisas have a solid series of four victories in a row. Bottom-ranked Cimarrones managed to get the second consecutive victory on Tuesday night. This time they won against sixth-ranked Motilones in Quibdo-Choco 99-86. It was a great evening for Yovany Del Rosario who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 20 rebounds. Cimarrones' coach let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Yeison Colome responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Cimarrones (3-9) moved-up to sixth place. Motilones lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with eight games lost.

Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Caimanes made 8 blocks. It was a great evening for American Tirrell Brown (198-1993, college: OBU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Alejandro Montes helped adding 13 points. At the losing side the former international forward Romario Roque (180-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and Andres Millan scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Caimanes have a solid series of four victories in a row.
