De Leon is back at CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago- April 7, 2021
De Leon represented Dominican Republic at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) two years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: 7.0ppg, 1.8apg, 1.2spg, FGP: 37.5%, 3PT: 25.0%, FT: 61.5%. De Leon is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in seven different countries. De Leon tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in Australia (Adelaide 36ers and Illawarra Hawks), Canada, Poland (Spojnia and MKS DG), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros and Manati), Spain and Dominican Republic (San Lazaro, Metros de Santiago, La Mattica, La Villa and Indios de San Francisco) and Colombia (Bucaros). The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others De Leon's team made it to the LPB Semifinals in 2020. He was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB Player of the Year and Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB Import Player of the Year in 2020. It's very possible he may end his playing career at CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago. De Leon attended Eastern Washington University until 2009 and it is his 13th (!!!) season as a professional player.
