Ramon Galloway
Brahian Mendez had an amazing evening in the last round for Sameji and receives a Hoops Agents Santiago League Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had the game-high 26 points adding four rebounds for Sameji in his team's victory, helping them to crush Plaza (#6, 1-7) with 24-point margin 117-93. Sameji is placed at 5th position in Dominican Rep. Santiago League. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 6 games and recorded just one victory. In the team's last game Mendez had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Sameji, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Mendez has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 19.1ppg) and averages solid 72.6% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Ramon Galloway (190-SG-91) of CPN. He is American guard in his first season at CPN. In the last game Galloway recorded impressive 30 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as CPN lost that game 98-105 to slightly higher-ranked Cupes (#1, 6-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. CPN still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 5-3 record is not bad at all. Galloway is one of the most experienced players at CPN and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Oliver Garcia (188-G-96) of Plaza (#6). Garcia got into 30-points club by scoring 39 points in the last round. He went also for four assists. Despite Garcia's great performance Plaza lost 93-117 to slightly higher-ranked Sameji (#5, 1-6). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Plaza can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-7 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Garcia has individually a great season in Dominican Republic. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 29.3ppg (best scorer) and assists with 5.4apg (7th best). He also has 2.1spg and FGP: 54.4%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
