Equipo Femenino La Vega (United Cup) signed American guard Ashley Hagans (170cm). The last season she played at Atlanta Royalty (WUBA) in the U.S. She averaged an impressive 10.9ppg, 6.0rpg, 5.0apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 48.6%, 3PT: 43.3%, FT: 73.1%. Hagans was later named Usbasket.com All-WUBA Most Improved Player of the Year.

She attended Brenau University. Hagans was named NAIA Division I Women's Basketball All-American Team.

The 2021 United Cup of Champions will be hosted in La Vega, Dominican Republic.
