Leones de Santo Domingo (LNB) signed 26-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) center Duby Okeke (203cm-104kg-94, college: Nebraska). Okeke played last season at Real Murcia in Spanish 1Div. But in 27 LEB Gold games he had just 1.5ppg and 2.4rpg previous season.
He has played also professionally for other Spanish teams like Ourense, Menorca and Navarra.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his college team won Big South Conference Tournament in 2017. Okeke was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Defensive Player of the Year in 2020.
He attended University of Nebraska until 2018 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.
