Caneros - Reales 87-95 An interesting game for Reales (8-2) which played road game in La Romana against 3rd ranked Caneros (7-5). First ranked Reales managed to get a 8-point victory 95-87. American forward Raphiael Putney (207-1990, college: UMass) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Gelvis Solano (185-1994, college: Merrimack) chipped in 18 points and 7 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Brayan Martinez (203-1991) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and Bryant Polanco scored 14 points and 4 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Caneros' coach Miguel Volcan rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Reales maintains first position with 8-2 record. Caneros lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Soles and Indios. Reales will play against Indios (#3) in San Francisco in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
