American forward Sydney Curry (203-2000, college: GCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Metros are looking forward to face Titanes in San Cristobal in the next round where they are favorite. Marineros will play on the road against Leones in Santo Domingo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
In the last two games of round 2 Caneros lost to Leones on the opponent's court 81-87. Indios managed to outperform Titanes in a home game 78-71.
