Top ranked Indios (12-4) recorded its fourth loss in La Vega on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Reales (8-7) 90-82. Reales made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American-Iraqi guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) who scored 30 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. American guard Malachi Richardson (197-1996, college: Syracuse) chipped in 23 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Luismal Ferreiras (200-2003) who recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Reales moved-up to fourth place. Indios at the other side still keep top position with four games lost.
Very important is a home loss of second ranked Metros (11-4) against fourth ranked Marineros (8-8) on Tuesday night. Host Metros were defeated by Marineros in a tough game in Santiago 82-86. It was a good game for forward Andersson Mejia (201-2000, college: Texas A&M) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 9 rebounds and 13 assists. Jalen Henry contributed with 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American guard Troy Cracknell (193-1999, college: Augusta) answered with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for Metros. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Marineros went down to fifth position due to points difference, which they share with Caneros. Metros at the other side keep the second place with four games lost.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Santo Domingo. Local Soles (2-14) lost to seventh ranked Titanes (7-8) 94-79 on Tuesday night. Worth to mention a quality performance of Richard Bautista who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Levi Bradley with 21 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains seventh place with 7-8 record. Soles lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost.

In the last game of round 15 Leones were defeated by Heroes in Moca 120-111.




Metros - Marineros 82-86

Very important is a home loss of second ranked Metros (11-4) against fourth ranked Marineros (8-8) on Tuesday night. Host Metros were defeated by Marineros in a tough game in Santiago 82-86. Marineros players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a good game for forward Andersson Mejia (201-2000, college: Texas A&M) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 9 rebounds and 13 assists. American power forward Jalen Henry (203-1996, college: SIUE) contributed with 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Marineros players scored in double figures. American guard Troy Cracknell (193-1999, college: Augusta) answered with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import swingman Jordan Hall (203-2002, college: St.Joseph's) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Metros. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Marineros went down to fifth position due to points difference, which they share with Caneros. Metros at the other side keep the second place with four games lost.

The game with biggest result difference took place in Santo Domingo. Local Soles (2-14) lost to seventh ranked Titanes (7-8) 94-79 on Tuesday night. Titanes dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Soles' 40. Worth to mention a quality performance of point guard Richard Bautista (185-1997) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Randy Bautista (, college: ASA Manhattan CC) helped adding 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Levi Bradley (201-1996, college: NIU, agency: BIG) with 21 points and Darwin Rosario scored 16 points and 5 assists. Five Titanes and four Soles players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains seventh place with 7-8 record. Soles lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost.

There was no surprise in Moca where 8th ranked Leones (5-11) were defeated by third ranked Heroes (9-6) 120-111 on Wednesday. Heroes looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Kevin Obanor (203-1999, college: Texas Tech) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Caleb Huffman (193-2000, college: Nicholls) helped adding 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was naturalized American Angel Gerardo Suero (196-1989, college: Albany) with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) and American guard Reggie Quezada (190, college: USAO) scored 21 points. Four Heroes and five Leones players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Heroes have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Heroes maintains third place with 9-6 record having four points less than leader Indios. Leones lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 11 games lost.
