Almansa inks Eddy Polanco

Afanion CB Almansa (LEB Gold) agreed terms with 26-year old American (has also Dominican passport) shooting guard Eddy Polanco (190cm-88kg-94, college: SE Louisiana) for new 2021-22 season. Polanco will still stay in Spain where he played last season at ICG Forca Lleida. In 24 LEB Gold games in Spain he had 13.4ppg, 3.8rpg and 2.0apg. 2020-21 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Gold Honorable Mention.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Arcos Albacete Basket (LEB Silver). In 18 games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.6ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.9apg. 2019-20 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
He has played also professionally in Dominican Republic (El Million).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Southland Conference Tournament in 2018. He was voted to All-Mid-Florida Conference 1st Team back in 2016.
Polanco attended Southeastern Louisiana University until 2018 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.
