Dominican Rep. LNB round 8 (Second Stage) best performance: Luismal Ferreiras (by Hoops Agents)

Power forward Luismal Ferreiras (200-PF-2003) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Indios de San Francisco, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8 (Second Stage).
The 22-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 20 rebounds, while his team crushed Caneros (#6, 8-14) with 23-point margin 111-88. Indios maintains the 2nd position in Dominican Rep. LNB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Indios will need more victories to improve their 13-9 record. In the team's last game Ferreiras had a remarkable 52.9% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Indios, through which he has constantly improved. Luismal Ferreiras has solid league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 11.2rpg. Ferreiras is in league's top in and averages impressive 1.1bpg and 53.3% FGP.
