Titanes - Leones 91-76

Titanes looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Richard Bautista (185-1997) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Swingman Jassel Perez (195-2001) helped adding 19 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. The best for the losing side was American power forward Sterling Manley (213-1998, college: UNC) with 21 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Jaison Valdez (188-1995) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Titanes and four Leones players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Metros players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Juan Guerrero (203-1993) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Naturalized American guard Omar Silverio (190-1998, college: WVU) accounted for 24 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Metros players scored in double figures. Metros' coach Melvyn Lopez allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Juan Suero (196-1993) came up with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized American point guard Eddy Polanco (193-1994, college: SE Louisiana, agency: Octagon Europe) added 10 points and 6 assists respectively for Indios in the defeat.
