The Magic sign Lester Quinones

Lester Quinones

Orlando Magic landed 24-year old Dominican Rep. 6-5 guard Lester Quinones (college: Memphis) for the new season. He played most recently at New Orleans Pelicans. In 5 NBA Summer League games he just recently played, he averaged 8.6ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.0apg, and 1.0spg last season.
Part of last season he spent with another NBA team, the 76ers. The other team he played for briefly was Squadron.
He has never been drafted by the NBA.
Quinones represented the Dominican Republic at the FIBA World Cup in Philippines-Japan-Indonesia two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 7 ppg and had 2.2 rpg.
He has played for three other NBA teams before: GS Warriors, Santa Cruz Warriors, and Birmingham Squadron.
Among many awards, he was voted to USBasket.com NBA G League All-Rookie Team in 2023.
Quinones graduated from the University of Memphis in 2022, and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
