Anyeuri Castillo (ex San Carlos) joins Al Markaziyyah

Anyeuri Castillo

Club Centrale Al Markaziyyah Jounieh (DLBL) agreed terms with 27-year-old American (who also holds a Dominican Republic passport) forward Anyeuri Castillo (201cm-93kg-1997, college: USC Aiken). He played last season at San Carlos in the TBS league in the Dominican Republic.
He is a very experienced player. Castillo's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in seven different countries. Castillo tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played professionally in Argentina (Riachuelo de La Rioja), Chile (Los Leones), Dominican Republic (Soles, Plaza and Retiro23), Mexico (Dorados), Spain (Palma Fibwi), Venezuela (Pioneros) and Lebanon (Mayrouba). His team was regular season runner-up in Venezuelan SPB Group Occidental in 2025. Castillo was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SPB Honorable Mention in 2025.
He graduated from the University of South Carolina - Aiken in 2021 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player. Castillo played for other colleges such as Kent State University and Central Georgia Technical College.
