Bautista's 28 points and 7 rebounds give him Player of the Week award

28-year old point guard Richard Bautista (185-PG-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for Titanes del Distrito Nacional and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 16.
He had the game-high 28 points adding seven rebounds and six assists for Titanes in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Heroes (#3, 9-7) 76-75. Titanes is placed at 5th position in Dominican Rep. league. Titanes is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-8 record. In the team's last game Bautista had a remarkable 56.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Titanes, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Bautista has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (7th best: 4.3apg) and averages solid 62.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Ramon Galloway (190-G-1991) of Reales de La Vega. He is American-Iraqi guard in his first season at Reales. In the last game Galloway recorded an impressive 25 points and 7 rebounds. Bad luck as Reales lost that game 82-95 to the higher-ranked Metros (#1, 12-4). Third place about best performers goes to forward Jordan Geronimo (198-F-2001) of league's leader Metros de Santiago. Geronimo scored 20 points. He was a key player of Metros, leading his team to a 95-82 easy win against #4 ranked Reales. Metros confirms their top position in the standings.
