The game between second ranked Panteras (7-2) and fourth ranked Teclenas (6-3) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Panteras were defeated by Teclenas in a tough game at home 42-46. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Panteras. Camila Ruiz (165-1995) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Center Kryssia Urias (185-1994) chipped in 10 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Kenia Campos (172-1986) produced 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Teclenas have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Panteras at the other side keep the second position with two games lost. The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Santa Tecla Elite (6-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Santa Emilia (1-9). Santa Tecla Elite smashed Santa Emilia 84-55. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Sofia Perdomo (163-2003) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 4 steals. Karla Alas contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Andrea Martinez (200-2000) answered with 9 points, 17 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for Santa Emilia. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Santa Tecla Elite maintains fourth place with 6-4 record.
