Salvadorean Liga Mayor round 6 best performance: Arlenys Romero (by Hoops Agents)

Cuban Point guard Arlenys Romero (176-PG-1984) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked San Salvador, receiving a Hoops Agents Liga Mayor Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 39-year old player got a double-double of 20 points and 14 assists, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Santa Ana 2 (#6, 0-9) with 87-point margin 125-38. It allowed San Salvador to consolidate first place in the Salvadorean Liga Mayor. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and San Salvador keeps a perfect 8-0 record. In the team's last game Romero had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. She turned to be San Salvador's top player in her first season with the team. Arlenys Romero has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (5th best: 17.9ppg) and averages impressive 2.8spg.

The second best player in last round's games was another San Salvador's star - young Cuban Yayma Boulet (193-C-1984). Boulet had a very good evening with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists.
