The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Panteras as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Panteras defeated 4th ranked Santa Tecla Elite at home 70-58. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Santa Tecla Elite. Panteras dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Santa Tecla Elite's 36. Center Leslie Sermeno (176-1997) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Gladis Maravilla (185-1985) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Forward Silvia Perez (158-2002) responded with 21 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Santa Tecla F1. Santa Tecla Elite at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost. The game in was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Teclenas (7-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Sivar (4-7). Teclenas managed to secure a 9-point victory 45-36. Center Paola Ortiz (172-2001) notched 7 points and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and Camila Ruiz supported her with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Even 9 points and 7 rebounds by point guard Wendy Guevara (165-2001) did not help to save the game for Sivar. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Teclenas have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 7-3 record having just three points less than leader Panteras. Sivar at the other side keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. The most impressive stats of the last round was 9 points and 12 rebounds by Kryssia Urias of Teclenas.
