The most exciting game of round 14 in the Liga Superior took place in Santa Tecla. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd ranked Teclenas (7-4) to second ranked Santa Tecla F1 (10-2) 56-54 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Teclenas. Santa Tecla F1 forced 25 Teclenas turnovers. Laura Rivas (171-1999) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Gracia Flamenco (173-2000) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Camila Ruiz (165-1995) replied with 14 points and 7 rebounds for Teclenas. Teclenas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Santa Tecla F1 have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Teclenas at the other side keep the third place with four games lost.
An interesting game for Panteras (9-2) which hosted in 4th ranked Santa Tecla Elite (6-5). Second ranked Panteras managed to get a 12-point victory 70-58. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Santa Tecla Elite. Center Leslie Sermeno (176-1997) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Gladis Maravilla chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Forward Silvia Perez (158-2002) responded with 21 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Panteras maintains second position with 9-2 record behind leader Santa Tecla F1. Santa Tecla Elite at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost.

Paola Ortiz notched 7 points and 17 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 9 points and 7 rebounds by Wendy Guevara did not help to save the game for Sivar. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Teclenas have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 7-4 record having four points less than leader Santa Tecla F1. Loser Sivar keeps the fifth place with seven games lost.

It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Santa Tecla Elite. Panteras dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Santa Tecla Elite's 36. Center Leslie Sermeno (176-1997) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Gladis Maravilla (185-1985) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds during the contest.
