Bottom-ranked Santa Ana 2 (0-11) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 11th consecutive match to second ranked Batanecas (7-3) 89-52. Cuban center Rachel Contreras (184-1999) notched a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 26 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and Maria Montero supported her with 8 points, 15 assists and 6 steals. Even a double-double of 14 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by Guatemalan Linda Gonzalez (178-1992) did not help to save the game for Santa Ana 2. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Batanecas maintains second position with 7-3 record having just one point less than leader San Salvador. Santa Ana 2 at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Batanecas will play against league's leader San Salvador at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Santa Ana 2 will play against Santa Tecla 2 (#5) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.

Salvadorenas 2 maintains third position with 6-3 record having just three points less than leader San Salvador. Loser Santa Tecla 2 keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Salvadorenas 2 will meet at home league's second-placed Batanecas in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
