Ahuachapan looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Cuban guard Elianis Armenteros (175-2000) scored 27 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Cuban point guard Dairis Tornell (176-1992) chipped in 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Guatemalan point guard Astrid Garcia (165-1995) responded with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Ahuachapan maintains ninth position with 1-9 record. Metapan's coach Reynaldo Corrales felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
