Metapan claim Liga Mayor Clausura title

Metapan - San Salvador 74-68

Metapan celebrated LMBF Clausura title. They overcame San Salvador in the decisive third game of the championship series to conquer the trophy. It was a good game for Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-1984) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 16 rebounds. American point guard Britney Jones (174-1987, college: UAB) contributed with 16 points and 6 assists for the winners. Cuban Anisleidys Galindo (181-1989) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds and Cuban point guard Arlenys Romero (176-1984) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for San Salvador.
