Guatemalan Forward Valeria Oliva (169-F-2006) had a great game in the last round for PSN, receiving a Hoops Agents Liga Mayor Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 18-year old player was the main contributor (34 points, nine rebounds and three assists) to her team's victory, helping them to crush Ahuachapan (#7, 2-6) with 16-point margin 73-57. Thanks to this victory PSN moved-up to the 8th position in Salvadorean Liga Mayor. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 7 games and recorded just two victories. In the team's last game Oliva had a remarkable 61.1% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. She just recently signed at PSN, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Valeria Oliva has solid league stats. Romero showcased her all-around game by recording 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. She was a key player of San Salvador, leading her team to a 96-59 easy win against the lower-ranked PSN (#8, 2-7). San Salvador have amazing season winning all 8 games without a single defeat. Romero turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Romero has a great season in El Salvador. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.8ppg (4th best) and assists with 4.6apg (5th best).
