Jimenez's double-double lands her Liga Mayor Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

25-year old Dominican Rep. shooting guard Yenifer Jimenez (163-SG-1999) had a great game in the last round for Ahuachapan BC and receives a Hoops Agents Liga Mayor Player of the Week award for round 14.
She had a double-double of 34 points and 15 rebounds, while her team beat Batanecas (#2, 9-4) 76-66. Ahuachapan is placed at 6th position in Salvadorean league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 9 games and recorded just three victories. Jimenez just recently signed at Ahuachapan, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Jimenez has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 29.0ppg. Jimenez is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 11.5rpg), assists (2nd best: 5.5apg) and averages solid 4.9spg.

Second best performed player last round was Vanessa Bautista. She is a in her first season at Ahuachapan. In the last game Bautista recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 28 rebounds. Bad luck as Ahuachapan BC lost that game 52-65 to Santa Tecla 2 (3-9). Despite lost game Ahuachapan moved up to 6th position in the standings. 9 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Ahuachapan managed to get this year. Bautista is one of the most experienced players at Ahuachapan and similarly like Yenifer Jimenez has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.3ppg (#6). She also registered 17.2 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Dairis Tornell (176-PG-1992) of Santa Ana 2nd team (#3). Tornell scored 28 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
