Basquete de Barcelos (Liga Feminina) landed 23-year old El Salvador international 188cm forward Kimberly Villalobos for upcoming season. Villalobos just graduated from San Diego State University (NCAA). She has played there for the last five years. Villalobos helped them to win MWC Tournament.
She started her college career at San Diego State University (NCAA). Villalobos' high school career she had spent at Chaminade College Preparatory School in West Hills, CA.
Villalobos has been also a member of El Salvador international program for some years. She has regularly played for El Salvador senior team since 2017 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2018.
Villalobos represented El Salvador at the FIBA Central American Women's Championship in Managua (Nicaragua) this year. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 5 games: 14.2ppg, RPG-2(10.6), 1.4apg, 1.2spg, BPG-3(1.6), FGP: 45.5%, FT: 52.4%.
So her pro career will start in Portugal.
