Latinbasket.com All-FIBA U18 AmeriCup Awards 2026- June 9, 2026![]() Javion Tyndale, 17-year old Canadian point guard was voted the Most Valuable Player at the FIBA Under 18 AmeriCup.
He plays For the Montverde Academy in the NIBC.
Tyndale received multiple other awards, was selected as the Best Guard and was chosen to the First Team.
He averaged almost 13 points per game during the event.
Tyndale led the FIBA Americas Under 18 in assists per game with 6.
His 19 points against USA were the most he scored at the tournament.
Felipe Quinones, 18-year old Puerto Rican guard was honored as the Best Forward of FIBA Under 18 AmeriCup.
He plays For the Panathinaikos Athens Under 18 team in Greece.
Quinones was also named to the First Team.
He started playing in the Puerto Rican Under 18 National Team 2 years ago.
Quinones also played for the Under 16 national team back in 2023.
His court vision propelled him to the fourth spot in assists per game an outstanding average of over 4.
Quinones also recorded almost 10 points per game at the event.
His 20 points against Venezuela were the most he scored at the tournament.
Despite Quinones' young age he had an impressive career.
He contributed to his team making it to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2025.
Quinones was selected to the Latinbasket All-FIBA Americas Under 16 First Team back in 2023.
He was also selected as the Eurobasket All-FIBA Under 17 World Cup Honorable Mention in 2024.
Pedro Souza, 17-year old Brazilian swingman earned the Best Center at the FIBA Under 18 AmeriCup.
He plays For the Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in Spain.
Souza also earned a spot in the First Team.
He started playing in the Brazilian Under 18 National Team 2 years ago.
Souza registered almost 14 points and 4 rebounds per game at the event.
His 21 points against Puerto Rico were the most he scored at the tournament.
Despite Souza's young age he had an impressive career.
He was selected to the Latinbasket All-FIBA Under 17 South American Championship First Team in 2025.
Lyris Robinson, 17-year old Canadian shooting guard was voted to the First Team of FIBA Under 18 AmeriCup.
He plays For the Bella Vista College Preparatory School in USA.
Robinson averaged 14 points and almost 4 rebounds per game at the event.
His 19 points against Venezuela were the most he scored at the tournament.
Quentin Coleman, 17-year old American swingman was selected to the First Team at the FIBA Under 18 AmeriCup.
He plays For the University of Illinois in the B10.
Coleman had over 11 points per game at the event.
He led the FIBA Americas Under 18 in rebounds per game with over 11.
Coleman recorded double-doubles in 3 games during the event.
His 15 points against Brazil were the most he scored at the tournament.
