Saint Vincent - Trinidad and Tobago 59-73
Second win for Trinidad and Tobago in Nassau. It was a Day Three of the CBC Championship and T&T cruised past Saint Vincent 73-59 for 2-1 record at this event. On the other side, Saint Vincent dropped to 0-3. Melissa Guerrero (180-G-83) was the leading player in victory with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Rhea Codio (165-G-88) had 12 points and 7 assists, while Jowan Ortega (173-G-85, college: UMKC) also helped with 12 pts. In the loosing squad, Shavern Weekes top-scored with 16 points (5 rebs). Galeine Gordon (85) also was good adding 14 points and 12 rebounds. Quarters: 17-17, 18-17, 18-16, 6-23. Today, T&T will meet US Virgin Islands. Saint Vincent will take on Cuba in their search for the first win in Nassau.

Dominican Republic - Cuba 73-80
Cuba registered third straight win in Nassau. This time Cuba was better than Dominican Republic handing them 80-73 loss for perfect 3-0 record. On the other side, Dominican Republic dropped to 1-1. Yamara Amargo (180-F-85) led the winners with 20 points. Marlen Cepeda (193-C-85) had double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Taimy Fernandez (183-F-82) added 15 points and 6 rebs. In defeat, Carmen Guzman (175-G-85, agency: Merit Sports, college: UAB) shined with 39 points. Their second scorer was Andreina Paniagua (183-F-78) with 12 points. Quarters: 17-22, 10-25, 23-16, 23-17. In Day Four, Cuba will meet Saint Vincent. Dominican Republic will play against the host Bahamas.

Bahamas - U.S. Virgin Islands 61-67
First victory for the US Virgin Islands in Nassau. They outplayed Bahamas 67-61 for 1-1 record in CBC Championship 2011. On the other side, the host of this event dropped to 1-2. Natalie Day (182-G/F-90) was a key player for the winners with 27 points and 14 rebounds. She reached impressive valuation 36. Yanique Javois (176-G-85, college: St.Louis) was the second scorer in victory with 18 points. The hosts got 13 points and 6 rebounds from Taneil Poitier (90). Philicia Kelly (90) netted 10 points. Quarters: 20-14, 18-15, 19-12, 4-26. In Day Four, US Virgin Islands will meet Trinidad and Tobago. Bahamas will play against Dominican Republic.
