Surinam - U.S. Virgin Islands 33-84
US Virgin Islands claimed the second straight win at the start of the Caribbean Championship as they stormed past Surinam. Five players scored in double digits for the winners. Taylor Jones (173-G-1997, college: Oakland) stepped up with 18 points, while J-Naya Ephraim (175-G-2000, college: GMU) contributed 14 points in the victory. Chiniqua Pengel (174-G-2005) replied with 12 points for Surinam as they fell at 0-3 record.

Jamaica - Bahamas 56-88
Bahamas rolled past Jamaica for 2-1 record atop of the standings in Guyana. Lashann Higgs (175-G-1995, college: Texas) stepped up with 23 points, while Valicia Demeritte (175-F-2000, college: Coker) topscored 25 points for Bahamas. Christeina Bryan (190-F-2002, college: Seattle) notched 15 points and 8 rebounds for Jamaica as they slipped at 1-1 record.
