Cuba - Saint Vincent 97-37
Nothing new in Nassau as Cuba registered their fourth straight win. They blasted Saint Vincent 97-37 for perfect 4-0 record at the CBC Championship 2011. On the other side, Saint Vincent stays winless after four appearances. Leidys Oquendo (180-F-82) and Taimy Fernandez (183-F-82) scored 16 points reach for Cuba. They grabbed 7 and 6 rebounds respectively. Oyanaisy Gelis (172-G-83) helped with 12 points and 7 assists. In defeat, Nathifa Weekes (170-G-85) was better than the others with 15 points. Their second scorer was Vasha Adams (83) with 8 points (8 rebs). Quarters: 26-7, 23-9, 19-9, 29-12. In Day Five, Cuba will meet the host Bahamas. Saint Vincent will play against the US Virgin Islands.

Third victory for Trinidad and Tobago in Nassau. They outplayed US Virgin Islands yesterday 76-68 for 3-1 record at the CBC Championship 2011. US Virgin Islands dropped to 1-2. Jowan Ortega (173-G-85, college: UMKC) shined for the winners with 20 points. Chenell Harris (89) had 16 points and 8 rebounds, while Melissa Guerrero (180-G-83) added 13 pts, plus 7 rebs. In the loosing squad, Natalie Day (182-G/F-90) was way better than the others with 29 points and 9 rebounds. She reached valuation 35. Second scorer in loss was Yanique Javois (176-G-85, college: St.Louis) with 13 pts. Quarters: 15-15, 27-15, 11-15, 23-23. Today, Trinidad and Tobago will meet Dominican Republic. US Virgin Islands will play against winless Saint Vincent.

Bahamas - Dominican Republic 54-73
Dominican Republic registered their second victory at the CBC Championship 2011. They handed 73-54 loss to home squad jumping to 2-1 record. Bahamas dropped to 1-3 after this meeting. Andreina Paniagua (183-F-78) stepped up for the winners with 19 points. Carmen Guzman (175-G-85, agency: Merit Sports, college: UAB) had 15 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists, while Sugeiry Monsac (186-F/C-81) added 12 pts, plus 7 rebs. In defeat, Philicia Kelly (90) had 21 points and 8 rebounds. Anastacia Sands-Moultrie (C-77) stopped to 8 pts and 5 rebs. Quarters: 8-13, 14-20, 19-12, 13-28. Today, Dominican Republic will meet Trinidad and Tobago. Bahamas will take on unbeaten Cuba.
