Bahamas are the new CBC champions. They beat Jamaica in the Final in Tortola. Shanea Armbrister (180-F) stepped up with 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the winners. Philicia Kelly (175-F-89) finished with 12 points for the champions. Jamaica eked out an 11:10 lead after the opening quarter. They stretched the lead in the second frame. Jamaica piled up a 31:24 halftime advantage. Jamaica stayed in front throughout the third term. They secured a 7-point lead heading into the fourth frame. But Bahamas turned things around in the final quarter. They ignited a strong 19:8 rally in the last ten minutes and captured the trophy. Diasti Delancy (165-G-85) accounted for 8 points for Bahamas. Shenneika Smith (185-F/C-89, college: St.John's) responded with 15 points for Jamaica. Tarita Gordon (165-PG-89) tossed in 14 points and collected 9 rebounds in the defeat.

U.S. Virgin Islands - Barbados 98-47
US Virgin Islands celebrated the Bronze medals at the CBC Championship. They fired past Barbados in the consolation final. Brittney Matthew (170-G) stepped up with 20 points to pace US Virgin Islands. They unleashed 48 points in the first half to build a 20-point halftime lead. US Virgin Islands did not slow dowin in the second half. They stayed dominant rallying to a comfortable victory. Yanique Javois (176-G-85) accounted for 17 points, while Natalie Day (182-G/F-90, college: Portland) finished with 14 points for US Virgin Islands. Dale-Marie Cumberbatch (180-F-88) responded with 12 points for Barbados.
5-6 Place
Saint Vincent - Antigua 49-57
Antigua wrapped up their CBC Championship campaign on a winning note. They beat Saint Vincent to occupy the 5th overall position. Amanda Edwards (175-F-88) stepped up with 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort. Saint Vincent grabbed an 18:7 lead ten minutes into the game. Antigua responded with a strong 23:12 rally in the second period to even things up at 30. They held Saint Vincent to just 19 points in the second half and snatched a tough victory at the end. Dalia Clarke (175-G-78) and Tyea Ladoo (175-SF) tossed in 14 points each for Antigua. Vasha Adams (183-F/C-83) responded with 18 points and 14 boards for Saint Vincent. Lorna Caesar (168-G) had 9 points in the loss.
7-8 Place
British Virgin Islands - Guyana 73-62
British Virgin Islands enjoyed victory on the final day of the home CBC Championship. The hosts held off Guyana to clinch the 7th position in the standings. Tamara Phillip (185-G, college: Cent.Arizona JC) stepped up with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Darier Malone (163-G) added 16 points for British Virgin Islands. The hosts led by just two points at halftime 30:28. But they used a 24:10 run in the third term to clear off for good. Miriam McKenzie (177-G-90, agency: Regeneracom Sports, college: Loyola, MD) responded with 22 points and 16 rebounds for Guyana. Nichola Jacobs (177-SG) had 11 points in the defeat.
