Cuba conquered the trophy in Havana. The hosts rallied past Dominican Republic in the title game. Anisleidys Galindo (181-SG-1989) stepped up with 25 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Cuba accounted for a 47-32 halftime lead. They sank 21 points in the third term to open a 22-point lead and never looked back en route to the win. Dairis Tornell (176-PG-1992) provided 14 points for Cuba. Sugeiry Monsac (186-F/C-1981) answered with 12 points for Dominican Republic.
3-4 Place
Jamaica - Bahamas 57-68
Bahamas clinched the third position in the championship. They overcame Jamaica in the consolation final. Britenique Harrison scored 14 points and collected 10 rebounds for the winners. Bahamas recorded an 18-14 lead after ten minutes. They went on an 18-9 run in the third term to clear off for good. Denika Lightbourne (178-PG-2004) and Valicia Demeritte (175-F-2000) added 12 points each for the winners. Faatimah Amen-Ra (163-G-1991, college: Toronto, agency: Promo Sport ID) answered with 12 points and 8 assists for Jamaica.
