RETAbet Bilbao Basket (Liga Endesa) agreed terms with 24-year old Serbian-Guyanese international guard Stefan Peno (194cm-91kg). Peno already started the season at Prienai CBet in Lithuanian LKL league. In only one game he recorded 6 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. He also played for ALBA Berlin in German BBL where in only one game he averaged just 2 points.
Peno has been also a member of Serbian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Serbian senior team since 2014 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2015.
Peno represented Serbia at the European Championships U20 in Crete (Greece) four years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 8.9ppg, 4.6rpg, 5.0apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 27.5%, 3PT: 29.2%, FT: 76.0%.
He has played also professionally in Spain (Barca and FC Barcelona Lassa 2nd team), Serbia (OKK Beograd) and Germany (Rasta Vechta).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won German Bundesliga championship title in 2020. Peno was voted to Eurobasket.com All-World Championships U17 2nd Team back in 2014.
