Anthony Moe (ex J.Guzman) agreed terms with Putrajaya

Putrajaya (MBL) added to their roster experienced 34-year old Guyanese-American ex-international 207cm center Anthony Moe (college: Millersville). He played most recently at J.Guzman in Ecuadorian Liga Basquet Pro. He also played for Cocodrilos de Caracas in Venezuelan SPB where in four games he recorded 4.8ppg and 4.5rpg last season. Moe was a member of Guyanese Senior National Team between 2018 and 2021.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in eight different countries. Moe has played previously professionally in Chile (Temuco), Saudi Arabia (Al Ansar), Venezuela, Nicaragua (Jaguares, Brumas and UNAN de Leon), TBL (Albany Patroons and Lehigh Valley L.), El Salvador (Marquense, Cojute, Brujos and Chalchuapa), Canada (Jackals) and Malaysia (KL Aseel). He won Ecuadorian Liga Basquet Pro championship title in 2024.
Among many awards he was voted Latinbasket.com All-El Salvador Liga Mayor Torneo Clausura Defensive Player of the Year back in 2021.
Moe graduated from Millersville University in 2015 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball. He played also for Saint Thomas University for one year.
