Svendborg signs rookie Djery Baptiste in his first year in pro basketball

Svendborg Rabbits (BasketLigaen) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old Haitian 208cm center Djery Baptiste for season 2021-22. Baptiste has only college experience so far playing last time for UMass (NCAA). In 27 games he recorded just 2.1ppg and 2.6rpg in 2019-20 season.
He started his college career at Vanderbilt University (NCAA) where he played three seasons. His high school career he had spent at Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano, TX, which he joined from Wilbraham & Monson Academy.
Of course it will be Baptiste's first season in professional basketball.
