30-year-old Haitian 209cm center Djery Jean-Baptiste (college: UMass, agency: BIG) left Castill de Gorraiz Valle de Egues (Segunda FEB). In 12 games in Spain, he averaged 3.9ppg, 6.8rpg, and 1.7bpg this season. Last summer, he played at Rajawali Jakarta (IBL) in the Indonesian league. He also played for Mineros (LBE) in the Mexican league.
He is a very experienced player, thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on five different continents. Jean-Baptiste is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, Australian and of course North American leagues. He has played professionally also in Australia (Meteors), Denmark (Svendborg), Indonesia, Mexico and Poland (WKK).
His team won the Danish Cup in 2022.
Jean-Baptiste graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 2020, and it is his sixth season in pro basketball. He played for Vanderbilt University for 3 years.
